Series: Invader Zim
Year: Sixth
Background: Zim is, quite prossibly, the most inept Irken Invader ever. He joined the Invader Academy and, after accidentally killing two Tallest (the heads of the Irken Armada) and destroying a large part of the Academy, was set to realize his dream... but he was so eager to invade something that he ended up rampaging through his own world. This lead to his banishment to Foodcourtia, the food court planet, where he was forced to be a frycook for all eternity. After a while, the invader campaign began again. Zim heard the news and, undeterred by his banishment, escaped Foodcourtia and headed toward the Great Assigning.
Of course, the Tallest turned him down, but even after giving him a complimentary sandwich he wouldn't leave them alone, so to get rid of him they sent him on a "mission" to take over an unknown planet called Earth. After giving him a defective robot and sending him on his way, they thought he would be lost in space forever... but they were very, very wrong.
After six months of traveling and listening to his robot slave, Gir, singing the Doom Song, Zim finally arrived at Earth. Unfortunately, his resources were... bad, so his disguise was very, very bad. The good news was that the inhabitants of Earth were impossibly unobservant and stupid, so nobody noticed... except for one of his classmates, Dib. Dib attempted to expose him, and since nobody noticed or cared, attempted to capture him. He failed, but this sparked off a beautiful, beautiful rivalry.
As for Zim's personality, he's very... stupid, and horrible at concealing his true identity. He also tends to be a HUGE spaz, and has an incredible superiority complex.
